IdeaDay is a full day of venture creation that brings together people with ideas and the people who can help build them. Founders, researchers, students and entrepreneurs bring ideas they want to develop or pressure test, while contributors bring expertise and perspective to the teams forming around them. Using the proven venture-building process developed by Bill Gross at Idealab, teams spend the day strengthening the concept, shaping the business and preparing to pitch in front of real investors.
Tech Launch Arizona and Idealab Arizona will bring IdeaDay to U of A, in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority.
Idealab Arizona is a venture studio focused on the earliest stage of company creation, from idea to establishing product-market fit. The studio focuses on big problems in the world around energy, medical innovation, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. Idealab Arizona co-founds companies with extraordinary entrepreneurs to turn the most commercially promising solutions into thriving businesses.
